Incomparably great power for us who BELIEVE

Image
We had the privilege of stopping in Israel on our way back to Nepal. Here we are at the Garden tomb. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father,  may give you the Spirit of wisdom  and revelation, so that you may know him better.   18  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened  in order that you may know the hope to which he has called  you, the riches  of his glorious inheritance  in his holy people,   19  and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power  is the same as the mighty strength   20  he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead  and seated him at his right hand  in the heavenly realms,   21  far above all rule and authority, power and dominion,  and every name  that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.   Ephesians 1:17-21 As I have been reading and meditating on thi...

We have a heart for the Nations so pray we can touch these countries and people with the love of Christ! PEACE be Still

Image
Jesus still speaks in to the storms of our lives just as he did 2,000 years ago! 38   But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”   39  And he awoke and  rebuked the wind and said to the sea,  “Peace! Be still!”  And the wind ceased, and  there was a great calm.   40  He said to them,  “Why are you  so afraid? Have you still no faith?” Mark 4:38-40 Whatever storm you are facing, whatever you are going through, have FAITH, Jesus is right there speaking "PEACE. Be still!" What's been going on in America Sharing about our ministry in Nepal We are continuing to wait on Michael's citizenship process here in California. We hoped he would have been called this past month for his citizenship test, but now we are hoping he will be called this month. If all goes well, we are hoping the process will be finished within the month and we can ...

We have been encouraged, challenged and blessed by the promises of Isaiah 58 this week:  “Is not this the kind of fasting   I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice   and untie the cords of the yoke  to set the oppressed  free  and break every yoke?  Is it not to share your food with the hungry  and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter — when you see the naked, to clothe  them  and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn,  and your healing  will quickly appear;  then your righteousness will go before you  and the glory of the  Lord  will be your rear guard. I pray we can all meditate and pray how we can be used by God to loose the chains of injustice, set the oppressed free,  share our food with the hungry, clothe the naked and provide shelter for the poor. There is power in ...

Faithful in little...

"...  I urge you to live a life worthy  of the calling  you have received.   2  Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another  in love." Ephesians 4:1-2 God is calling each of us to be faithful in what we are doing whether small or great.   "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much."  (Luke 16:10) Be faithful where God has you...father, mother, husband,  wife,  brother,  sister,   teacher, nurse, engineer, missionary, retailer, graphic designer. Let us be faithful to walk in humility, gentleness, patience and bearing with one another in love.  God is looking for a faithful generation.  What's NEXT? Tomorrow we will fly to America where we will finish up Michael's citizenship process. Though we had not planned to go back to America this soon, we trust God to make our time there f...
