Greetings in Jesus' Name The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but a matter of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 16). I have prayed many times over the familiar prayer that Elijah prayed, Lord, show me Your glory. I thought I was doing “well”, denying my life of pleasure in America and moving to the other side of the world to put my hand to the plow and not look back. Yet, I find myself in a whirlwind as I battle to see, touch and experience the fullness of the glory of God and His heavenly kingdom. I have yet to conquer this desire for earthly pleasures that keep me from the fullness of this heavenly glory. Would I be content to live off $2 a day like most of the world that surrounds me?
