UPDATE ~ Moses had just died and Joshua was appointed to lead the people over the Jordan into the Promised Land. The Lord said to Joshua . . . Have  I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous…for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. ~ Joshua 1:9 April 30th 4:00 A.M. Lynchburg, VA, pouring rain and thunder, I wake up after just 3 hours of sleep…my last night in America. All my belongings and my wedding dress are packed and ready to go. My room is empty. I am leaving my life in America and moving around the world to Kathmandu, Nepal to marry Michael Tamang and start a new life with him. My dad had told me that when asked by friends how he felt about his eldest daughter moving have way around the world to marry a Nepali and do ministry he said, "She is destined for this." I also believe this is truly my DESTINY.  May 11 st It...

May 2, 2014 is finally here...the long awaited day for Michael's US visa appointment.  We have been hoping and praying Michael could come to America so he could meet my extended family and friends. We were planning to have an American wedding reception in California after our Nepal wedding. Michael had told me regardless of whether he was accepted or rejected to go to America, it would be hallelujah news .  I just arrived late last night after literally packing up all my belongings to move half way around the world to marry Michael Tamang and start a new life here in Nepal with him ministering to people here.  Michael called me around 11:00 AM this morning and said he had been rejected an American visa. Regardless we choose to say hallelujah . We are confident that the Lord's will is done. We both have so much peace & joy even with this news. Gods ways are so much higher than ours and He must have a different but wonderful plan for summer...
