UPDATE ~

Moses had just died and Joshua was appointed to lead the people over the Jordan into the Promised Land. The Lord said to Joshua . . . Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous…for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. ~ Joshua 1:9

April 30th
4:00 A.M. Lynchburg, VA, pouring rain and thunder, I wake up after just 3 hours of sleep…my last night in America. All my belongings and my wedding dress are packed and ready to go. My room is empty. I am leaving my life in America and moving around the world to Kathmandu, Nepal to marry Michael Tamang and start a new life with him. My dad had told me that when asked by friends how he felt about his eldest daughter moving have way around the world to marry a Nepali and do ministry he said, "She is destined for this." I also believe this is truly my DESTINY. 

May 11st

It has been eleven days since I arrived. Michael and I have been caught up in a whirlwind of excitement and business, as we have been able to begin our new life together. We have been searching for a home as our previous one was unfairly canceled and the lady refused to give our month rent (deposit) back. Michael and I battled our frustration with praise and we rejoice in this trial for the maturing of our faith. Please pray the Lord leads us to another home. We also began to submit papers for our Nepali marriage certificate and again faced unfair treatment. The Nepali government officials are asked for $400 USD for our marriage certificate when it should cost nothing. An American lady at church told me, “You may have ten important tasks planned for the day but if you accomplish one then your day is a success.” How true this is.

We are rejoicing as God has divinely given Michael the opportunity to record his first worship album. He has been working night and day to finish his recording before our wedding May 22nd. 

My immediate family arrives within the next week. 

Please keep us in your prayers as we seek for the Kingdom of God!

PRAYERS 

1.     Lord, speak breakthrough and revelation over Michael as he records worship in Jesus Name.
2.     Power and anointing to minister among the people of Nepal fall upon Michael and Holly in Jesus Name. 
3.   Father God, speak grace and favor over Michael and Holly as they begin their new life in Jesus name.
4.   Lord, take away every barrier to finding a home in Jesus Name.
5.   Lord of Heaven, I plead the blood of Jesus over Michael and Holly’s marriage in Jesus Name.
6.   I claim power in Jesus name over Michael to overcome and excel among recording worship in Jesus Name.
7.   Lord, make Michael and Holly truly one with the Risen LORD, in name of Jesus.
8.   May divine harvest fall and fill Michael and Holly’s life in Jesus name.

Thank you Lord for answering our prayers

Earthquake Update

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. We will be a part of a team bringing much needed supplies, food, and shelter to people in need.  Please keep us in your prayers, that we release God's love and hope to these people. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
