Giving Birth

Giving birth is no short process. 
4 1/2 months pregnant...our little girl is coming 
around July 31st

This has been what I've been finding out these past four and a half months! It's a long delicate and quite grueling process filled with extreme pain and joy. I believe that it is the same with the spiritual realm...when God is birthing something new it is often not a quick and easy process. There is a time of waiting, persevering, and pain that comes before the unceasing joy. I am believing God to birth a habitation of HEAVEN here in my neighborhood. What are you believing God for?

Jesus said, Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. - Mark 11:23-24


Requirements for Spiritual Birth
1. INTIMACY-To live a fruitful life...we must be living a life of intimacy with the Father. Ask God to take you deeper!
2. ASK - the Father to implant a seed to birth something new and spectacular.
3. WAIT- in expectancy.
4. PERSEVERE through the PAIN. 
5. BELIEVE for the pure joy and love that is coming. 

PRAY: Thank you Father for birthing something new in my life! I am expecting YOU to do GREAT things!

March 18-20 - Pokhara (7 hours away) Youth Worship Conference and Concert
March 20-22 - Patan Worship Retreat
March 24 - Doctor appointment 
March 25 - Teach Binay Youth - Evangelism
March 27 - Easter Program
March 28 - Youth Spontaneous Worship and Prayer Night
March 29 -31 - Plan distribution of goats and chicken evangelism outreach/Make preparation for building 2 widows homes

April 1 - Begin planning for Michael's Visa appointment with
April 20th - Michael's Visa appointment
April 21-24 - Parents visit
April 25-30 Pack to go to America
May 1st - EXPECTING to travel to AMERICA :-)

We plan to be in America for 6-9 months. We are excited to see friends and family and see this as a great opportunity to share and extend our ministry to America as YOU are a VITAL part of our work. We could not be living and ministering here in Nepal without your prayers and support. If you or your church would be interested in having us share about our ministry please email holly.liedstrand@gmail.com We plan to travel around America during these 6-9 months so chances are we will be near YOU at some point :-) Since we are in America for such a short time we will not be able to get jobs. We are believing the Lord for provision. We also have to continue raising monthly support for five orphanages each month, pastoral and worship leader support. Pastor's and wives conference in Rwanda

 The organization we partnered with (EMM) shared the feedback from the pastor's and wives who attended the conference:

My good friends Laura and Chief were able to join us for the
Conference in Rwanda. Laura and I spent 4 days teaching the
wives. 
 The conference has brought a spiritual revival in their hearts and a great renewal of their minds. It left within their hearts a certain enthusiastic atmosphere which will propel them to a greater future both in their churches and their personal lives. The pastors felt motivated and encouraged to continue moving forward in the work God has called them to. Many gave testimony of being reminded of their call as a pastor and how they were equipped for new goals in the ministry. Many said this conference was a turning point as they received new insights for their ministry in the local church.

Earthquake Update

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. We will be a part of a team bringing much needed supplies, food, and shelter to people in need.  Please keep us in your prayers, that we release God's love and hope to these people. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
