PEACE be Still

Jesus still speaks in to the storms of our lives just as he did 2,000 years ago!

38 But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” 39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” Mark 4:38-40

Whatever storm you are facing, whatever you are going through, have FAITH, Jesus is right there speaking "PEACE. Be still!"

What's been going on in America

Sharing about our ministry in Nepal

We are continuing to wait on Michael's citizenship process here in California. We hoped he would have been called this past month for his citizenship test, but now we are hoping he will be called this month. If all goes well, we are hoping the process will be finished within the month and we can return to Nepal beginning of October. Please pray that the government officer will call him in and he will be able to pass the test.

Just as there is flooding in Texas, Nepal has also been experiencing flooding these past two weeks,  27 inches of rain, nearly 70 people have lost their lives, and 60,000 homes were flooded. The Red Cross estimates that nearly 100,000 people have been affected by this disaster. L2W staff, Pastor Nischal lives near the flooded area and says, "Flood has affected many people and many have lost their rice, clothes, cooking pots, live stocks etc...due to the drinking water problem many are suffering by diarrhea, fever, running nose and cough so we are praying and planning to provide a sack of rice, daal, salt and some medicine at least for more affected 50 families in our field. please remember in your prayers. Thank you." Click here to read an article about the flooding

Pastor Bir will be going to some very remote villages to hold discipleship training seminars and share the gospel this September with a team from America. Please pray for their travels and effective ministry.

He will also be holding two mobile training seminars for new believers.

As of now we are praying for $200 a month to support Pastor Bir's living and ministry costs.
