"What is that in your hand?" God asked Moses as He met him at the burning bush, "a staff", Moses replied. -Ex. 4:2
Moses had been a humble shepherd in the wilderness for 40 years, now he was finally ready to lead God's people from slavery to freedom. God was not looking for a strong warrior, a wise leader or rich ruler. He was looking for a humble man. And He used what was in Moses hand to show His mighty hand to deliver His people.
What do you have in your hand? No one would think a staff of any worldly value, but with God's anointing Moses delivered the people of Egypt, parted the Red Sea, and brought water from the rock.
What is in your hands? What gifts and talents do you have? God is in the business of taking the ordinary and using it to do extraordinary things.
Please join us in prayer as we use the staff in our hands to part our Red Sea here in Nepal, as we release His presence through worship, love on children and make disciples.
