Fire of the Holy Spirit
Acts 2
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
“‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams...
And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved"
Michael along with our local church band came over to our house and wrote this song in our livingroom. It is a prayer for the fire of the Holy Spirit to be poured out on this nation.
I pray that today you are filled afresh with the Holy Spirit and fire to build God's kingdom.
Plans for the next month
We leave in 6 days to fly to Dubai for my sister, Krista's wedding and then we will go to America for 3 weeks to attend her second wedding.
We will also have the opportunity to do teachings on Worship and meet with some of our sponsors.
We are praying for more sponsors to support our ministry of discipleship here and also for individual sponsor ship for the 60 children that we support every month. We are still looking for 30 of the children to be sponsored at $90 a month. See information below. If you are interested in partial sponsorship of $30 every dollar makes a difference!
Lighthouse Children's Home
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Matt. 19:14
Lighthouse Children’s Home is a Christian, faith-based home, dedicated to transforming the lives of children. In 2014 Nyzil and his wife, Shweta stepped out in faith and brought nine young children into their home in S.E. Asia.
Experiencing firsthand what it is like to grow up without a mother, Shweta had a dream to help other’s like herself.
“When I was six years old my mom passed away. I had to take care of my younger sisters and brother. I had many struggles and problems. My Father drove a rickshaw. He would earn sometimes a dollar a day. All the responsibility at home fell on my shoulders. I realized how it is when there is no mother. When I was around sixteen I realized that I needed to do something for these young children who beg on the street and have no food and no family. I eventually shared my vision and desire to help children with my husband. He also had the same desire and said that we would open a children’s home in God’s timing.”
February 2014 Nyzil and Shweta did just that! The Lord opened the door to start Lighthouse Children’s Home. These children had been beggars at the train station. They have faced many challenges but have also received many blessings as they put their hand to the plow and toil for what truly counts. Pray for them as they journey this path of loving the least of these.

Hello how are you?
ReplyDeleteMy name is Emilio, I am a Spanish boy and I live in a town near Madrid. I am a person very interested in knowing things related to the culture, the way of life of the inhabitants of our planet, the fauna, the flora and the landscapes of all the countries of the world etc., in summary, I am a person who enjoys traveling , learning and respecting the diversity of people from all over the world.
I love to travel and know all the aspects mentioned in person, but unfortunately, since this is very expensive and my purchasing power is quite small, I came up with a way to travel with imagination to all corners of our planet. A few years ago I started a collection of stamps since this activity allows me to know in an original way some aspects such as fauna, flora, characters, monuments, etc. of all countries. As unfortunately, every day it is more difficult to get stamps, some time ago I started another collection in which my goal would be to get at least one letter from each country and territory with postal autonomy in the world. This modest objective is feasible to achieve in most countries, but unfortunately it is impossible to achieve in other different territories for several reasons, either because they are countries at war, either because they are countries with extreme poverty, they are territories with small population or because any reason, their postal system is not working properly.
For all this I would like to ask you a small favor:
Would you be so kind as to send me a letter by traditional mail from Nepal? I understand perfectly that you think your blog is not the right place to ask this, and even, it is very probably that you will ignore my letter, but I would like to draw your attention about the difficulty that I have in receiving a letter from that country, besides, I do not know anyone or where to write in Nepal in order to increase my collection. A letter for me is like a small souvenir, it's as if I had visited that country with my imagination and at the same time, the arrival of the letters from a country is a sign of peace and normality and an original way of promoting a country in the world. My postal address is as follows:
Emilio Fernandez Esteban
Calle Valencia, 39
28903 Getafe (Madrid)
Spain
I would also like to invite you to visit my blog: www.cartasenmibuzon.blogspot.com there, if you wish you can take a look at my collection and in this way understand in a more graphic way why I make this request.
Finally, I would like to thank you for the attention given to this letter, and whether you can help me or not, I send my sincere wishes for peace, health and happiness for you, your family and all your loved ones.
Sincerely
Emilio Fernandez
