Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving brings faith to a new level...When you give thanks in a difficult situation you are saying...God is bigger than my problem. When you give thanks for something you have not yet received...you are stepping into FAITH... "we walk by faith and not by sight". Great faith brings great manifestation of God's Kingdom. As we celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas...I encourage and challenge you to GIVE THANKS ALWAYS!

And, we give thanks to God for each of you, your prayers and partnership with our ministry here in Nepal as we disciple, teach, and equip the church, as we support orphans with a safe and loving home, as we release the light and love of Jesus over Asia. We thank you and we thank God.

 November 29th: Tomorrow we fly to Bangladesh where we will visit one of the orphan homes we support as well as hold a conference for youth teaching them about their identity in Christ. Please pray for safe travels and effective ministry. We are excited that my parents will also join us on this trip.

 December 4th-8 we fly from Bangladesh to Varanasi, India to meet up with anther children's home we help support. We will hold a conference, visit villages and love on the children. We do by faith support 6 children's homes in Nepal, India and Bangladesh...we give by faith an extra $2,000 a month to these various homes that we have not yet raised consistent monthly support.   • Traveling to Bangladesh tomorrow...safe travels and effective ministry
  • Holly's Visa-Nepal Immigration's rules just change and I am now on a tourist visa. This is a BIG problem for me (Holly) since Michael and the babies can live here but I cannot be here more than 5 months a year unless I get a different visa which will be expensive and complicated. We are trying to bring a petition to immigration to request that spouses of Nepal's can live here on a relational/marriage visa.
  • Pray that our guest house will have business. Dwelling Place Guest House
  • Effective ministry in India Dec. 4-8th.

Earthquake Update

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
