Three Wise Men

This season we are celebrating the birth of Jesus! BUT if you were living 2,021 years ago would you have celebrated? Would you have known Jesus; the King of kings was born?

Not many people knew about this glorious occasion…not many people celebrated the birth of the King of the world. Joseph was in unbelief until an angel appeared to him in a dream…the shepherds didn’t know Jesus was born until angels announced it to them. The Inn Keeper was clueless and turned down the opportunity to host the King of kings! BUT there were three men who figured it out on their own…three wise men. When they met the KING they knew exactly what to do…they bowed down and WORSHIPPED Him! And they brought Him kingly gifts.

Would you have rejected Him like the inn keeper, been in unbelief like Joseph, angry and jealous like King Herod? OR would you have known the times…would you have looked for the sign in the sky and traveled hundreds of miles to welcome this small babe born in a manger?

We can be like these three wise men!

“The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom and whatever you get, get insight.” Prov. 4:7

God has purposed your birth on earth for THIS AMAZING TIME. The kingdom of God is at hand…step out in faith and touch it, see it, hear it! There are many secrets to the kingdom of God…we must “seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures.” (Prov. 2:4)

Jesus said, "whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." (John 14:12)

I believe THIS IS THE SEASON, the great end time harvest when we-->the manifest sons and daughters will stand up and show the world who we are by our love for one another...this is the TIME to do GREATER WORKS!

Let’s make our life count by AsKiNg for a heart of wisdom (Ps 90:12)...for our life is but a breathe in light of eternity!

Jesus' brother, James gave us a picture of heavenly wisdom… it is “first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere." (James 3:17)

Let’s meditate on this and strive to search out the kingdom of God this Christmas season!

Let our response be like the wise men to BOW down and WORSHIP the King of kings and present Him with worthy gifts! (Matthew 2:11)

As Paul prayed for the Ephesians so I pray for each of you to receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation, so you may know Him better. (Eph. 1:17)
