Conversation with God

6 years ago my girlfriend, Spencer and I were traveling around India asking God to use us. As I looked around, I felt useless, I thought India is so hot, so impoverished, so vast and on top of everything, I can't communicate! I was fearful and wanted to leave...so I prayed, God make me fearless. That very night my friend and I ended up sleeping on the streets at the train station with all the homeless people and I was mad at God.

It was then I had this conversation with God.

"God, you are my Father! How could you let me sleep on the streets of India?! My earthly father would not approve...in fact, he would do anything to get me off the streets and to a safe place."

God spoke to my heart, "I AM your Father, and I love you more than your earthly Father...and this is exactly where I want you to be. Didn't you pray to be FEARLESS? I want you to be fearless of the darkest night. Do you see all these people?"

I looked around and saw a young mother about my age with a little child. She was trying to entertain her baby and pointed to a rat that was running around.

God continued, "I love these people...I died for them, now you do something for them."

I looked up from my blue bench and saw a bird fly into a nest and thought, "I want to be safe at home in a nest like that bird."

"Birds of the air have nests, but my Son has no place to lay his head. Now, will you follow me?"

"Yes, Lord" I said.

The next day we caught our train and met Nyzil and Shweta who shared their vision to bring children out of the train station and begging on the streets to a safe and loving home.

In January 2014, we helped Nyzil and Shweta bring 9 precious children into their home from off the streets and train stations. They have faithfully cared for these children for nearly 5 years. Now they also are praying for a child of their own.

Will you take a moment and pray God will give Nyzil and Shweta a child of their own. I speak fruitfulness and resurrection life over her womb in Jesus Name.

I recently read a focus on the family message that was talking about how MTV wants to

shape our generation.

"The MTV phenomenon concerns me particularly. Are you aware that in the demographic between 12 and 24, MTV is the number one channel watched in the entire world. Three hundred and fifty-two million households. Little Masai Mara children sitting in mud huts in Kenya sometimes watch MTV by way of satellite transmission. It is everywhere. It's pervasive. What does MTV want to do? They've told us. They don't want to just entertain our kids. They want to shape a generation. And that's what they are very rapidly doing. And the stuff they put on is wretched."

This is the very reason we are writing new songs and even making music videos. We want to see a generation of Jesus worshipers ARISE!

We are currently holding different trainings specifically for worship teams, however in the next 2-5 years we envision opening a discipleship training school locally where we can hold 4 month trainings twice a year. We are looking at buying property where we can one day build a school. Land is like gold here because the Kathmandu valley is condensed and land locked by mountains. We are hoping to raise $40,000 to buy a plot of land by July.
