Today is Pentecost!

 Acts 2 "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. ... All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit "
Last week I had the opportunity to teach on Acts 19 where Paul met a group of believers and as he observed them he noticed something was missing in their lives...he asked them, "Did you received the Holy Spirit when you believed?". They had not even heard about the Holy Spirit. So Paul laid his hands on them and prayed for them to receive the Holy Spirit.  My prayer for the church today is that God will pour out His Spirit afresh on the church. That we will be able to ]manifest for Him and walk in great Power to be a mighty Witness!

What have we been up to:
Gorkha Discipleship training
  • We have been continuing to have discipleship trainings in the village 1 or 2 a month where Michael and a team of believers (sometimes I go when it is not too far) teach several church worship teams about worship.
  • We had the opportunity to preach at church- Michael recently taught on Matthew 4. 
  • Recording and filming a new song about Abba Father
  • Michael finished his last long distance class for his Masters in Divinity- He traveled with all the students to the flat land of Nepal. They ended their trip with an elephant safari ride :-)
  • Michael is the worship Pastor at Binay Church...so he's often leading worship and working with the worship team
  • Holly helps teach Sunday school for the children
  • Dwelling Place Guest House is surviving. Now we are thankful we have a mission team of 13 guests staying here for about 10 days. Please pray for more teams to come!
  • We celebrated Emeth's First Birthday May 1st and we Celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary May 22nd!

  • This week is Pentecost- June 9- Praying for a fresh out pouring of God's Spirit on His church!
  • Baptism class began this week for 5 new believers!
  • Sita pala Church plant - Pastor Bir is discipling the new believers.
Children Home's
  • Children began their new school year. 
    • Emeth turned 1 year old!
  • 3 tenth grade girls from Mercy Children's Home completed a 1 month discipleship training school during their holidays. 
  • We are starting a new Bible curriculum- Kids Carrying the Kingdom at church. We hope to use this curriculum in the children's homes as well.

Pray

  • Continued support for 6 children's homes.  Click here to Support a Child
  • This week Michael is working on recording his newest song he wrote with our church worship team. Pray for blessing over the recording.  
  • Continued support for our worship ministry and conferences we put on each month. We will be going to Pokhara a 7 our drive away end of June. Click here to GIVE  
  • Pray for God's provision for land and building of discipleship school and church ($40,000 for land and $90,000 for 3 story building). 
  • We will be traveling to NYC, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina July 26-August 20th. Contact us if you will be around and we can stop in and say hi :-)

Earthquake Update

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. We will be a part of a team bringing much needed supplies, food, and shelter to people in need.  Please keep us in your prayers, that we release God's love and hope to these people. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
