October Update




Reading Numbers 22-24 about Balaam blessing Israel. He built 7 altars of sacrifices to see if God would meet with him. (Numbers 23:3-4)Though Balaam was a man of divination who had intentions to curse Israel, he understood- to meet with the spiritual realm one must offer sacrifice.
Worship is sacrifice- we worship God by offering sacrifices so we can meet with Him.
How do we worship?
  • With our voice- Praises, thanksgivings, songs, raising our hands, bowing down
  • With our tithes and offerings
  • With our talents and gifts
Whatever you do, do it for God and not for man.
What or who we worship, we will meet - good or evil.
Worship God today- offer Him your whole self as a living sacrifice- and He will meet with you!!

Worship and Discipleship

Jesus talked about how the Pharisees looked clean on the outside (Matt. 23) but inside they were full of filth, darkness and sin. We believe, to be effective leaders we need to teach that worship begins with holiness in the heart. We had an amazing time of worship with some friends who came over to our house this month and it happened to be Rosh Hashana- the Jewish New Year- we prayed for a generation of believers dedicated to holiness, ready to say YES to Jesus' call. We are excited to see God move this generation as we "go make disciples". Please partner with what God is doing here- come visit us, pray for us and support us financially. We are praying for increased support so we can hold more trainings:

Women's Conference




We attended a Women's Conference where Holly taught on Breaking Free from Strongholds, Intimacy with Christ-how to study the Word, Pray and Hear from God. Ministering to these women was touching and humbling -
Some walked 3 hours to get there, some could not read, some struggled with fear or sick family members, one lady is praying for her father in law who is a witch doctor...God’s light pierces the darkness and cuts into hearts dividing soul and spirit breaking chains of darkness. Thankful I could bless and encourage these ladies.

We have to pay our way as well as help support this conference. If you want to sow into God's Kingdom and partner with our work: 

Children's Ministry
We support 60 orphan children around Nepal, India and Bangladesh. We support them financially as well as train them spiritually. This month we visited and taught four of the homes about the Holy Spirit. 

We are praying for more support for these children- 
  • School Fees- $30 per child per month
  • Housing- $30 per child per month
  • Food and clothing- $30 per child per month

A glimpse of our November-January Schedule:

After prayer we feel God leading us to our little baby boy in America due to some complications with citizenship. We fly to Portland, OR Oct. 27 and will live in Redding, CA for 4 months while we have our baby boy- due mid January. We hope to get involved at the local church, research discipleship curriculum for our future discipleship worship school, meet with supporters, and hopefully raise more support. 

Michael leaves tomorrow for a worship training in a district called Dhading. Pray for safe travels (4 hour drive) and effective training!

Pray

  • Pray for deeper hunger for God. Fruitful ministry. Protection for us as we travel to America and health of our family.

Earthquake Update

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. We will be a part of a team bringing much needed supplies, food, and shelter to people in need.  Please keep us in your prayers, that we release God's love and hope to these people. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
