Listen and Obey...two words, I am constantly telling Shiyrah, my 3 year old. I love her and often know what is best for her. It is important for her health and happiness that she listens and obeys. Often, I feel God speaking the same words to me... Listen and Obey.

To obey we need to be listening. What is God telling you today? Has He been speaking to you to do something, pray for someone, love and forgive someone. Jesus said many times throughout Scripture, He who has ears, let him hear. (Matt. 11:15)

Are you listening? God is so ready to speak to you!

This morning our reading was in 2 Kings 13:15-19 where the prophet Elisha gave King Jehoash interesting instructions. He said, "Shoot an arrow", King Jehoash followed that instruction, then Elisha said, "take your arrows and strike the ground". Jehoash struck the ground, but only three times. Elisha was angry. Elisha told him he should have struck the ground 5 or 6 times, because each strike represented a victory over his enemies.

If he had been listening he would have heard Elisha say, "The Lord's arrow of victory, this is the arrow of victory over Aram".

In Christ we are more than conquerors, let us open our ears, hearts and will to listen and obey Him, His Word, and His instruction.

Baby is coming soon!

Our baby is due in in 10 days!! He was breeched but thankfully the doctor was able to turn him! Please keep us in prayers that the baby stays head down and we have a good delivery and healthy baby. 

What's going on in Nepal?

We are excited to return to Nepal around February 25th.

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
