It seems the whole world has been shaken over the coronavirus. Psalm 46 has been so refreshing to read, think on and meditate.
The LORD of hosts is with us! I encourage you to also read and meditate on it.

God is our refuge and strength,
    a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
    though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
    though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
    the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
    God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
    he utters his voice, the earth melts.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

We are thankful we made it back to Nepal February 22nd. We had a good flight but as we arrived back the kids had very high fevers. Between jet lag and sickness it was very difficult. We were happy to have my parents and a family friend visit us. We were able to visit 4 children's (orphan) homes we (L2W) supports and go to Michael's cousins wedding.

Coronavirus in Nepal: It is hard to know how many people have had the coronavirus since the hospitals have not been testing people. Everything is being shut down until end of April, schools, churches, any get togethers. Our church is dividing it's services so only around 25 people will meet at a time. We are advised to stay in our houses. We are excited to use this time to soak up God's Word and work on preparation for the Worship School we are planning to open next year. Michael is praying about doing a few small worship trainings during this time.

 What's been going on in Nepal (in pictures):

We had a church retreat with all the leaders and volunteers. We had a great
time of worship and reflection.
Michael leading worship at our Church Retreat

I shared the video of Sangeeta this summer and NOW our church is planning to plant two churches. One of the churches is birthed out of Sangeeta coming to Christ as her testimony of God has been heard in her village and many of her friends and relatives are ready and interested to receive Jesus and plant a church near her village (about 5 hours away). Michael's dad is the pastor of our church and he, Michael and other elders will help plant these two churches. Be in prayer for these new believers and growth of our church!

Emeth helps Michael during church worship practice.
We had the worship team over to our house for fellowship
 This week we will start a weekly Bible Study.
Michael will lead the guys in a study on Holiness and
Holly will lead the girls in a study on Spiritual Gifts

Mommy life is very busy with 3 kids 3 and under! Here, I
am trying to go over my Nepali vocab. Please pray for me to
learn more Nepali!

Our church is competing in a soccer tournament with other
local churches. Soccer (futball) is one of Michael's favorite
hobbies! They won the first match but sadly the tournament
has been canceled.

Our house fellowship (Bible study) studying Romans!

Shiyrah loves playing princess
with her brother and cousin. Hopefully
they will start preschool April 20th!

Children Homes

We support over 60 children in 5 Orphan homes each month. Please pray for their physical and spiritual growth and financial provision.

Pray
  • Praise! We are able to easily get visa's to live in Nepal. Every March we have to pay $400 for our family to stay here. This is one of our many expenses that we have to raise support for. If you feel called to support us with a one time blessing: Click Here to DONATE
  • We are praying to raise more personal monthly support and ministry support. We are praying to raise $300 more of monthly support. Would you pray about partnering with us to spread God's Kingdom in Nepal? Click Here to DONATE
  • Continued support for our worship ministry and conferences we put on each month. Check out our website or our fb page: Light 2 the World
  • Pray for God's provision for the discipleship school we plan to open 2021 ($10,000 for start up costs) We are in need of $4,000 more!
  • Pray that our guest house will have business (It is challenging with the coronavirus as travel has virtually stopped). Dwelling Place Guest House
