Heaven Come Down


I would like to encourage you! 

For many years of my life I did not feel I was living out the life God had for me. I felt trapped and enchained. I felt the sting of death and defeat. I felt I was living in "hell". Where was the joy, peace and abundant life God had promised? I knew there was more to living a victorious life in Christ. 

I realized I was choosing "death", especially with the words I spoke and the thoughts I dwelt on. I would speak it over my life. Even though I was not serious, I would still long for death because life was just too hard. One day I felt the Lord put the Scripture on my heart, "Choose LIFE, not death" (Deut. 30:15-20). From my heart I chose LIFE. That moment I felt a lift in my spirit like a sheet coming off my head. I felt a new peace, a new presence. 

I have begun to realize that we can live out the victorious life I always dreamed and hoped for. As I have continued this journey of declaring LIFE, I have felt Heaven invade my being. This is just the beginning but I want to encourage you this morning/evening, that YOU CAN LIVE OUT THE VICTORIOUS LIFE GOD HAS CREATED! 

Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Prov. 18:21) 

We rule and reign with Christ by the WORDS we speak. When we choose life, we choose heaven. Our life should reflect heaven. "May Your kingdom (of heaven) come, may Your will be done on earth as it is in HEAVEN" (Matt. 6:10) . . . do you get it? . . . HEAVEN is to BE here on earth in YOUR LIFE. Imagine if heaven's presence, peace, joy, love, hope filled our lives? We would begin to live and walk victory and not defeat. 

Take a moment and choose life, choose heaven.

Update:

My Nepali Teacher: Last week I shared how my Nepali teacher accepted Christ and asked you to pray for her.

Since then she has asked if I can continue to teach her how to pray to Jesus. Each class she has been so excited to hear and learn more about the Gospel. Last Thursday she said she taught her 20 year old son how to pray to Jesus and ask Him into his life. Praise God! She was asking about the "Christian Guru"...aka - "Pastor" and had many questions about the spiritual world. "Can a witch doctor pray to Jesus to be filled with His Spirit?" and many more. 

Purna: this boy of 18 accepted Christ a few weeks ago at Iris Banquet Hall, the homeless feeding center. We have continued to meet with him. Pray he grows in His faith.

Worship Album: Michael's band, HRC, has finished their CD cover and mixing the music. They are about to send it off to produce 1500 CD's. Please pray the process is done effectively and quickly. Pray these CD's bring the presence of God to many lives. 

Gorkha Conference: September 29-30, I am speaking at Binay's Women's Conference in Gorkha. I will be sharing on two topics: (1) Handling money and (2) Giving. October 1-3, Michael and his band are leading worship and a few workshops on worship at a youth conference in Gorkha. Pray for us this week as we prepare for this conference.

Earthquake Update

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. We will be a part of a team bringing much needed supplies, food, and shelter to people in need.  Please keep us in your prayers, that we release God's love and hope to these people. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
