September Update and Prayer Requests

 SEPTEMBER
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

As September is beginning, we are preparing for five different conferences that we are going to be a part of end of September and October. 

  • Binay Church Gorkha Women’s Conference- September 28-30
    • Holly will be sharing two sessions: Giving and handling money

  • Binay Church Gorkha Youth Conference- October 1-3 (250-300 youth)
    • Worship Workshop
    • Worship leadership skills

  • Chitwan Young Adults Conference- October 12 (150-180 young adults)
    • Worship and Evangelism Workshops
    • Evangelism Outreach

  • Makawanpur Evangelism Concert- October 13 (300-400 people)
  • Bhutan boarder Worship and Evangelism HRC Concert- November 5
  • India Worship and Evangelism Concert HRC- November 8

September Prayers:

  • HRC Album release
  • Studies-Holly’s Nepali studies and Michael’s Music studies
  • Bethel Bible School-Michael teaches worship to Nepali and Bhutanese students
  • Homeless Ministry- Thursday’s with Iris Ministry
  • Saturday and Sunday Worship- Michael is a part of the worship team for both Nepali and English Church services
  • Preparation for conferences and concerts: research, study and rehearsal
  • Our spiritual lives- growth
  • Our marriage-reflect Christ and the Church
  • Support for the children homes
  • Michael is preaching at Binay Church this Saturday: September 13th

Earthquake Update

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. We will be a part of a team bringing much needed supplies, food, and shelter to people in need.  Please keep us in your prayers, that we release God's love and hope to these people. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
