Your Kingdom of Heaven Come...


What does is look like to see the Kingdom of Heaven come to earth? What if heaven's peace, grace, love and health invaded our lives and the lives of those around us?

 The lame walking, the demon possessed in their right mind, broken hearts restored...these are all testimonies we read about in the Gospels & we are promised power through the Holy Spirit to do these same things!

As Michael & I walked through the slums of Prithivi chowk with pastor Bikram we heard powerful testimonies. One lady had been bedridden, lame and told by doctors she would soon die. Pastor Bikram and his church members prayed for Jesus to heal her. Today she is walking & praising The Lord! Most of her family came to Christ because of her testimony. Pray she & her family mature in their faith.

A small candle lit the dark room as <-- Chin ba Badhir shared his testimony, "I was tormented by demons" he said. "I worshiped Hindu gods and offered puja (worship) to snakes. At night demons would come in different forms to sleep with me & posses me".

Pastor Bikram prayed over Chin ba Badir's dreams and from that time his tormentors left! He believed in Jesus power to save. He threw away his idols & stopped selling alcohol. His wife also came to believe in Jesus. He asked us to pray that he can study more of Gods word & for his adult children to receive new life in Jesus.

Subina (-->) is 10 years old. She does not go to school. She lives in the slum, abandoned by her mother, now at the mercy of her drunk father. Wearing old clothes, legs and arms spotted with dirt, she still smiled big as I gave her a hug. She is beautiful and beloved by her Heavenly Father. Pastor Bikram says many children like Sabina, if sponsored, could go to an orphan home where they could be properly cared for, loved & educated.

 Let us declare, "Your Kingdom of Heaven come invade our lives!"

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus. Heaven on earth...
