January and February Testimonies and Prayer Requests

Michael leading worship at Patan English Service.
Pray for special anointing over him as he leads
God's people in worship.
May the LORD alone be glorified!
Are you living the victorious life God has destined for you? Perhaps you are feeling burdened by your circumstances.

Your loved one does not know the Lord. Your work is nothing but stress and misery. You are drowning in debt. You have this secret, hidden sin or addiction that is holding you captive. Perhaps, life is good, but there is still something missing. Is this all that the Lord has for you?

I want to challenge you to stand up and claim the victory LIFE that has been purchased by Jesus' blood.

“Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear.” Isaiah 59:1

Often, we pray and ask God for so many things when He already knows what we need. Let’s begin to claim and declare with thanksgiving, the LORD's hand is not shortened that He cannot save and empower us to live out the LIFE He has for us, for we have been forgive and redeemed by the shed blood of the Lord Jesus.

I challenge you to take a moment and declare this over your life.

Lord, thank you that your hand is not short that You cannot allow me to live out the victorious, Spirit-filled life of love and humility that You have destined for me.  Thank you that Your hand is not shortened that You cannot give me a spirit-filled ministry of worship, evangelism and discipleship. Thank you Lord that your hand is not shortened that you cannot touch my loved ones, my dreams, my church, ministry, and job with your Holy Spirit.

Celebrating my birthday with Joseph,
from House of Hope Children Home.
What’s been going on:

We celebrated my 29th birthday with Michael’s uncle and aunt at their children’s home. What a blessing to celebrate with my Nepali family!

I’m back to studying Nepali! Near the end of the lesson I practice reading the Bible in Nepali. Maybe you remember how I shared that my Nepali teacher, Deepa, accepted Christ this fall. She is overjoyed to finish our Nepali lesson with reading the Bible and prayer. As she was leaving class last week, she patted her heart and said, “Wow, I feel His peace!” Pray for Deepa to grow in understanding as she reads the Bible. Pray that we will be able to disciple those who accept Christ. Pray also for Subass who accepted Christ before we went to Africa. He wants to meet with us and learn more about Jesus.

February 1-7th we are traveling 8 hours by bus to a village, Beni, where we are a part of a youth retreat. Michael is leading worship and teaching a workshop about worship. I will be sharing on "The Fathers Love". Please pray for us as we prepare for this retreat. We met with our team for a time of prayer, one of the ladies shared that she is praying these youth are truly touched and changed by this retreat. Praying our worship and messages are filled with the Spirit of the Lord and these youth walk away challenged and changed.

Michael has just recorded two more songs that will be put on youtube. We are praying about recording another song that he recently wrote. Please pray for special anointing over the songs he writes. May the Lord use them to bless His people and spread His presence.

February 28-March 7th we are traveling to Varanasi, India to visit a children home and girls home where women from the red light district are being cared for. We will be ministering to these children and women as well as sharing the gospel in villages and ministering to the churches through worship. Please pray for a spirit-filled ministry, safe travels, the LORD's provision and the love of Christ to overwhelm those we come in contact with.

We thank you for partnering with us in prayer and support.
