Cultivating a LIFE of WORSHIP

Worshipping at Pastor Bikram's Church in Pokhara slum
The other night I had a dream: I was listening to the most amazing spirit-filled worship. I was filled mightily with His Spirit. As I went I saw three children jump from a very high building, trying to commit suicide. When they landed on the ground, I was filled with horror. I immediately went to pray over one girl. I held her broken back and told her Jesus can heal her and give her new life. I prayed with authority the simplest prayer, "Healed, healed, healed, in Jesus Name" and when I finished, this glowing glory filled the air and her back was completely healed.

Uncle Lila
Living in a third world country, we often see and hear “horror stories” of various children. Our hearts break for them, but we praise God that He is the One who HEALS! This is my proclamation of faith over these children, “Healed, healed, healed in Jesus Name”. “Healed of abuse, sickness, rejection, drug addiction and fighting.”

Two days ago I received an email from Michael’s uncle Lila, who just rescued a 5-year-old boy, Andrew, from a nightmare of horror. A year ago, his mother committed suicide; his father left him all alone for another woman. Praise God uncle Lila has rescued him. Let us ask our Abba Father to provide school fees and food for young Andrew.

Jacob
Another boy, Jacob, just 3 years old when uncle Lila met him one freezing winter day, “Hi Mr.” barefooted Jacob greeted in Tamang language, “it’s going to be a good day, cause the sun is out.” Uncle Lila was so surprised to see this boy, barefooted and with no jacket. He had been abandoned by his parents and left with relatives who were not properly caring for him. Jacob now lives at Grace Orphan Home.

Subina and me
Subina, is 10 years old. Her mother ran away with another man and her father is a drunk. She lives in the slum and spends her days as a child laborer, cleaning and washing for a small slum business. Pastor Bikram has a dream to care for some of these children in his own home. Let us ask our Abba Father to provide school fees and food for these beloved children.

Nyzil and Shweta
live in India.
In two and a half weeks Michael and I are going to India. A few friends and I have been helping a couple, Nyzil and Shweta, start Lighthouse Children Home and home for abused women in Varanasi, India.

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
John 3:17-18

We are responsible to be Jesus’ hands and feet of love. Let us strive to cultivate a life of WORSHIP and shout the shout of victory, “Healed, healed, healed, in Jesus’ Name.”
