DESTINY

Sunil lives on the streets of Kathmandu.
Lord, show him your mercy and grace.
Let us be your hands and your feet to set these
captives FREE in Jesus Name. 

This morning I shared at women's fellowship about Gideon...God called him to save his people from their stubborn oppressor- Midian...his response, "Please Lord, how can I save Israel? Behold, my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house."

Our destiny is somewhat similar to Gideon's...share the good news...set the captive free.

Sometimes I feel like Gideon, "what can I do? how can I save these people from their evil spiritual oppressors?"

God is speaking over us: "The Lord is with you, oh mighty man and woman of valor!"


Yet, before Gideon could save his people he had to deal with a stronghold of his fathers house. He was commanded by the Lord to tear down the Baal and Asherah.

Let us come before the Lord and ask Him to reveal any strongholds in our life.

Leading worship at the International Church

Recently we moved into a new home after the earthquake. I was praying that God would reveal any evil strongholds over our land and home. After frying some chicken I dumped the bad oil outside on a pile of rocks. Soon after, Michael came home and said a man had stopped him and asked if anyone had poured bad oil on his pile of rocks, which was his Hindu altar (at the corner of our home). Michael assured him that we would not do such a thing. When Michael questioned me, I shared with him, I had indeed been the one to throw the bad oil over the pile of rocks unknown to me that it was an altar. I canceled every right the enemy had over that altar/stronghold by the power in the blood of Jesus.

We can also have strongholds such as pride, greed, gossip, deception, bitterness, and fear. Lord we ask that you would expose and disgrace every stronghold over our life in Jesus Name. 

After Gideon had destroyed his fathers stronghold, he built an altar to the Lord. Let us replace every stronghold in our life with an altar of praise.

Then let us walk in our DESTINY- setting the captives free.

We declare resurrection LIVE over every area of our spirit, soul, body, family, neighborhood, church, city and country in Jesus Name.

• Someday we would like to be able to financially support ourselves. God has graciously given us opportunity to open a small 5 bedroom guesthouse- Dwelling Place Guesthouse. We will officially open with our first guests this October 19th. Please pray God blesses this and uses it for His glory.

Nearly the whole country is out of gas so we have been riding
bikes for the last 2 weeks. Pray for Nepal as India is not allowing
any fuel to come across the boarder since the new constitution.
