Intimacy with the Lord...

 Intimacy with the Lord brings fruitfullness.
Jesus says, "I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5

 If we want to live a life that counts, if we want to "bear much fruit" the secret is living a life of intimacy. When we are connected to the vine, connected with the Lord, we will live a life that makes a true difference.

 I encourage you to spend time with the Lord. Get in the Word. Know Him. Ask Him to be your first LOVE. 

 Tentative Schedule

NOVEMBER
1-4 Youth conference (10 hours away) Michael teaches on worship, Holly teaches on purity.
4-7 Worship Retreat (tentative) with English Patan Church 
10-15 Travel to Dubai, meet my parents, connect with and encourage local Nepali Church 
16-20 Seminary class and work
19-22 My parents visit Nepal, share at local church
23-28 Chitwan partnership with local church pastor (depending if we get gas)

As we have been sharing in previous updates we support children homes, not just in Nepal, but in India and Bangladesh, we know that encouragement, love and accountability is a very important part of our support so we hope to go visit them this January as well as go to Thailand for a conference. Our trip this past week to my home village, Gorkha
was historic as this was the first time that 35 churches came
 together and nearly 400 youth gathered for three days of
worship and learning from the Word of God.

and challenged.

Prem Kumari is 26 years old. She is a struggling single mother
and is now working part time at our guest house. We would
further like to sponosor her young daughter to attend school
$20 USD a month.

She shared how she met Jesus. Her husband left her for
another woman. Her other daughter had just passed away from
pneumonia. She was destraught and decided to attend church.
During the worship service she fell over heart-broken and
nearly dead for three hrs while the church prayed for her. There 
she received new LIFE in Christ. Now she has come to 
Kathmandu looking for a job. It is a real struggle to care for 
and support her child.

Lighthouse Children Home in India, where girls are learning
to make pottery. Please pray for them, their studies and for 
monthly support as we trust the Lord to provide. We have 
recently received a donor who will give up to $75,000 to 
support children homes and church planting.

Earthquake Update

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. We will be a part of a team bringing much needed supplies, food, and shelter to people in need.  Please keep us in your prayers, that we release God's love and hope to these people. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
