Devotions

Every morning the boys have their regular devotions. They have finished studying Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and are now studying Acts. They also have story telling sessions where they tell stories about creation and others.

Recently they learned the Lord’s prayer.


Prayer Requests


  • Please pray for a new children's home as their tenants have asked them to move out. If they want to purchase their own home it will cost around $60,000 USD
  • Pray for the children to grow in their faith and understand of God's love. 
  • Pray that the children will be a witness and bring more people to the Lord.

The children are doing well in their studies. Two of them finished 2 and 3rd in their final exams.

The house parents shared, "One of the boys has a friend named Ratul at school. Ratul’s father has a tumor in his head. Our boy shared about Jesus with his friend and told him that only Jesus can heal his father. They prayed together in the school for his father. He also told his friend to watch movies about Jesus from the internet so that he can learn more."

Hobbies

Two of the boys (Abbas and Al-Amin) have started learning guitar. They hope to learn playing drums afterwards. They are also learning how to worship and sing action songs.

All these girls homes were destroyed  Thank you for all your prayers and support A quick update.  Michael and I have been able to partner with our friends, family and church to bring relief to villages and people who's lives have been turned upside down with this earthquake. Tomorrow morning we are leaving with a team for Ghorka, the center where the earthquake hit and near Michael's childhood village. Uganda

Rudra, our new brother in Christ! It was my first time to Africa.   I was excited to see what God had for us. Before our journey began, we met a Nepali man --> at the airport who was going to Qatar for work.  He looked very normal and gentle-spirited. We began to talk. He was very surprised and happy to find out that my wife was a foreigner. Our conversation went deep and we opened our hearts and thoughts about faith. I shared God’s love and after nearly 45 minutes I asked him, if he’d like to invite Jesus into his life. And he said YES! The story doesn't stop here.   God was taking us on a journey to release His presence and share His goodness in different places from the… Border of Uganda and Congo… Worship before evangelism Praying with this Muslim lady to accept Jesus.
