Mercy Children's Home

Mercy Children's Home

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Matt. 19:14

Spiritual Life

At Church
Mercy Children's Home is following a devotional book called Aajako Bachan (Today’s word).

Pray for the children to grow in their faith:
  • Trusting God wholeheartedly: The children are learning how to trust on God completely for their bright future.
  • How to increase Faith: Hebrew 11: 1 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
  • Worship: The children recently learned a Nepali song that talks about giving their life to Jesus, and being filled with His joy.

Praise Report and Testimonies

Prakriti is from northern Dhading, Nepal. When she was a young girl her mother passed away and her father abandoned her.

She came to Mercy Children's Home when she was 4 years old. She is very hard working and intelligent and has always been top of her class.

She loves playing handball and has won many medals from various inter-school tournaments.

She accepted Christ as her Savior and received baptism August 21st, 2017.

She has been touched by her mothers death, who fell from a cliff and did not receive proper treatment. She desires to be a doctor so she can save many people’s lives and help bring medical facilities to remote mountain villages like her mother's.

She recently finished 10th grade. In Nepal 11-12th grade is considered college so she is hoping to focus on studying science. After she finishes 12th grade she plans to go to medical school which is very costly but she is believing and trusting God to provide.

Hobbies

The kids love playing soccer
